Context
Microstore manages fleets of new and refurbished PCs for several client companies, particularly in consulting. With thousands of devices to track, inventories were long and tied up four teams.
What I did
Comparison of RFID tag and reader technologies, field tests, then validation of a solution and of an inventory process suited to the teams. 1 to 2 days per month.
Results
Inventory in under 30 minutes instead of 2 hours, with a team of 2 instead of four teams.
