Context
PMO of the global Master Data Management programme, covering 30 of the group’s 60 plants. I managed a team of 25 consultants.
What I did
Full governance set-up: who owns each piece of data, which system is the reference, which workflow for creation, update and retirement, and which flow between the system of record and the systems that use the data. An AI documentation assistant put into production so that everyone gets the right answer on programme rules.
Results
Data with an owner, a single source and rules known to all. €15M stock reduction, measured, from identifying duplicate items and pooling purchases between plants. Other gains, real but not quantified during the assignment.
